FAQ

  • Yes! As part of my service (and list-loving persona) I take care off all the legal paperwork and lodge it on your behalf. In fact I try to do as much of the paperwork for you as I can to make sure your wedding day is stress free! There are four key documents required for a legal marriage in Australia:

    • Notice of Intended Marriage

    • Declaration of No Legal Impediment

    • Official Marriage Certificate

    • Commemorative Wedding Certificate

I provide all the necessary forms, guide you on when and how to complete them, and ensure everything is submitted correctly so you can focus on celebrating your big day!

  • To get married in Australia, you’ll need to provide proof of your date and place of birth. This can be either:

    • A passport (Australian or overseas), or

    • A birth certificate plus photo ID (such as a driver’s licence).

If you’ve been married before, I’ll also need to see an official divorce or death certificate for your previous spouse.

  • I’m based in Gympie, QLD, but I love a good adventure! I happily travel across Queensland and beyond!

For locations within 100km, travel is included in my packages. If your wedding is a little further afield, I’m more than happy to make the trip—just let me know the details, and we can chat about any additional travel costs.

  • Absolutely! Love is love, and I proudly celebrate all couples. Your love story deserves to be told your way, and I’m here to make that happen.

  • I use a Bose S1 Pro+, a top-of-the-range PA system with a wireless Sennheiser microphone, and I read my ceremonies from an iPad. I prefer to use my own equipment because I know it inside and out, ensuring everything runs seamlessly. So, expect to see me rocking up in my setup shoes, getting everything in place before your guests arrive!

  • Item descriptIt’s always a yes from me! Unless you’ve got live music, I prefer to handle the tunes myself directly from my iPad. This way, I can ensure everything flows perfectly (and you get to save your budget for an awesome DJ or live band for the evening). Plus, I’ll have some beautiful, loved-up tracks playing as your guests arrive to set the perfect mood.ion

  • I find most of my couples don’t need a rehearsal, and not including it in my packages helps me keep my costs down. As part of every ceremony, we’ll catch up the week of the wedding to run through some ceremony tips and tricks and on my way to the venue, I’ll pop in and see your wedding party to give them a quick “walking down the aisle” run through. If you’d like to book in a formal rehearsal, this is available at an additional fee and must be booked in mid-week.

  • Just call me the vow ghost writer! I’ll be there to offer you whatever support you may need when it comes to nailing your vows. Some just like to know what they have written sounds good to another person. Others may need help turning 3 words into beautiful heartfelt promises - whatever you need, I’ve got your back.

As a plus you’ll also get my Vow writing e-book filled with tips and tricks for the perfect vows.
